Xiaomi announced a brand new flagship but does it got what it takes to compete with the new LG G6 and even the Samsung Galaxy s8? Well lets start off with the price tag, It comes in around 325$ which is an amazing price tag for the specs you are getting. It comes equipped with a 5.1 inch 1080P display and the brand new Snapdragon 835 with a whopping 6GB of Ram. The battery size is a 3350MAH which should be enough to get you through the whole day since its not pushing as many pixels. The cameras are a highlight on this device.
With dual 12MP sensors on the rear with F 1.8 lens it should take some very good pictures in daylight and even low-light. The only drawback on this device is that it doesn’t have a headphone jack but the stereo speakers on the device are a very nice touch. It is using the new USB type C cable with Quick Charge 3.0. Now for the final question is it a worthy contender to the S8 and LG G6? Well yes it is it has the latest specs to compete with the latest flagships and should hold its own when it comes to performance. Now the price is 325$ for the 6GB model but the higher 128GB model will cost you more and if you are in the U.S. dont expect it to come to the four major carriers, and importing a phone can end up costing double the original price tag.
