Last week, Samsung opened up a link for users to sign up to beta access to Bixby Voice for those who wanted to test the voice version of Samsung’s new voice assistant early. The South Korean electronic company had to delay the Voice element of their AI assistant from the global roll-out due to language issues.
Users that signed up for the beta of the new AI assistant should be on the lookout for an update to hit their phone from today onwards because Samsung is beginning to roll the beta version out to the first wave of beta participants.
Upon receiving the new software version, users will be prompted to set up Bixby’s voice control similarly to the setup of the Google Assistant’s voice control. Users will then be able to use various commands with the voice assistant to control their device and smart home. The app will show users some examples that can be used to get started with Bixby Voice, as well.
If you have not yet signed up for the Bixby Voice beta, you can do so here.
